LEARN TO SKATE
Center Ice offers one of the best Learn To Skate programs available! We typically run 6-week sessions in which you or your child will take classes one day a week. The classes are designed for beginners on up to the more advanced levels. Our professional coaching staff is dedicated to helping toddlers ages 3+ thru adults in achieving their desired skating skills.

FORMAT
Classes are 30 minutes long and held once per week.
Please Note: First-time LTS students should sign up for Basic 1, Snowplow Sam 1, or Adult, depending on age. See below for details.
FIRST DAY PROCEDURE
Skaters should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled class time, allowing sufficient time for preparation.
EQUIPMENT
Single blade hockey and figure skates are required. All sizes of hockey and figure skates are available to rent for only $2.00. Helmets are required for all children 5 years of age and under (bicycle helmets are acceptable).
ATTIRE
Comfortable, flexible, and warm clothing, including hats and gloves or mittens, are recommended for all skaters.
POLICIES

100% refund will be given before the first day of class.

50% refund will be given on the first day of class. No refunds will be given after the first day of class.

Skaters may attend one make-up class per session.

The rink reserves the right to cancel or rearrange any class.

Snowplow 1 - 3
Classes are for 3-5 year olds. The most elementary skating skills are combined with fun and games. New participants should register for Snowplow 1.
Adult
Adult
This class is for skaters 16 and older.
Hockey
This class is for skaters who want to play hockey and have passed Basic 1.
Basic 1 - 6
Classes are for skaters ages 6 and up and for young skaters who have passed Snowplow 3. New participants should register for Basic 1.
Accelerated Figure Skating
A program designed to fast-track skaters into figure skating in the easiest, most affordable way possible. See the "Figure Skating" page for more information.
Pre-Freeskate
This class is for skaters who have passed Basic 6.
Freeskate 1 - 6
This class is for skaters who have passed Pre-Freeskate.
Accelerated Hockey
A program designed to give the new youth or adult skater the tools needed to start playing hockey. See the "Play Hockey" Page for more information.
