Learn to Skate Hockey

Center Ice Sports Complex is the perfect place to begin your journey to becoming a hockey player. This is a 6-week program offered on Wednesdays at 6:30 or Saturdays at 10:30.

- Registration can be done at Center Ice or by clicking on Enroll Here

- Cost is $102 for 6 weeks

- Instructed by the Center Ice hockey director

- Class is for skaters who have passed Basic 1

Learn to Play Hockey

Interested in ice hockey, but new to the game? Learn to play hockey is the perfect class for you! This program runs weekly at Center Ice Sports Complex and is designed for players of all ages to learn the basics of hockey such as stickhandling, shooting and passing the puck.

- Cost is $14.00 per session.

- Offered on most Sundays 12:50-1:50. See calendar below

Accelerated Hockey Program

The Center Ice Sports Complex Accelerated Hockey Program is designed to give new youth or adult skaters the tools needed to start playing hockey. This 6-week program runs in conjunction with our Learn to Skate sessions — Winter 1 (Winter 1 starts on SAT 1/3 with no class on 1/31 or 2/1. Winter 2 starts on SUN 2/22.) — and includes two Learn to Skate lessons per week (Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and Saturdays at 10:30 AM), Learn to Play on Sundays, admission to open skate or stick time, and free loaner equipment. Under the Hockey Director’s approval, youth players may move into the Canton Akron Hockey Program, and adults may move into our Adult Hockey League.
