Learn to Skate Hockey

Center Ice Sports Complex is the perfect place to begin your journey to becoming a hockey player. We offer learn-to-skate programs for all ages and upon completion, your future player can enter into the Center Ice Accelerated hockey program or the Canton Akron Jets youth hockey program. This is a 6-week program offered on Wednesdays at 6:20 or Saturdays at 10:40.

- Registration can be done at Center Ice or by clicking on Enroll Here

- Cost is $85 for 5 weeks

- Instructed by the Center Ice hockey director

- Class is for skaters who have passed Basic 1

Learn to Play Hockey

Interested in ice hockey, but new to the game? Learn to play hockey is the perfect class for you! This program runs weekly at Center Ice Sports Complex and is designed for players of all ages to learn the basics of hockey such as stickhandling, shooting and passing the puck.

- Cost is $14.00 per session.

- Offered on most Sundays 12:50-1:50. See calendar below

- Instructed by the Center Ice hockey director

Accelerated Hockey Program

The Center Ice Sports Complex Accelerated Hockey Program is designed to give the new youth or adult skaters the tools needed to start playing hockey. Upon completion, youth players may move into the Canton Akron Hockey Program and Adults can move into our Adult Hockey League. The program includes 2 Learn to Skate lessons per week (Wed 6:20 and Sat 10:40), Learn to Play Hockey (Sun 12:50), admissions to open skate or stick time, and free loaner equipment. - Cost is $183 for 5 weeks and runs in conjunction with our Learn to Skate classes.

Spring Session is April 13-May 18 (no class on Saturday May 11)
